Milva is a verified-human, end-to-end sealed messenger. Privacy is the product, not an afterthought. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never do. In short: we do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we cannot read your messages.
Milva is operated by Milva Corp ("Milva", "we", "us"). You can reach us at privacy@milva.app.
We use the limited data above only to: operate and secure the service, deliver messages and notifications you request, prevent spam, bots and abuse (Milva verifies that accounts are real humans), provide the business tools you use, and comply with the law.
We share data only with service providers that help us run Milva (for example, cloud hosting and delivery of the email/SMS notifications you opt into), strictly to provide the service and under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect people’s safety. If Milva is ever involved in a merger or acquisition, we will honor this policy.
We keep account and content data while your account is active. You can delete content, and you can delete your account, after which we remove associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records for legal or security reasons.
Person-to-person messages are end-to-end encrypted. Data in transit is protected with TLS. No system is perfectly secure, but we design Milva to hold as little readable data as possible.
Milva is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. To make a request, contact privacy@milva.app.
Milva operates globally; your data may be processed in countries other than your own, with appropriate safeguards.
We may update this policy; we’ll post the new version here with a new "last updated" date.
